The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.
SASSA is going to be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a sassa status service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more more info sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
